In Christ, there is neither male nor female, but in this world, each has distinct God-given gifts and duties. God has given men the duty to serve as leaders in the home, church, and state. The best thing men can do in a congregation is to lead by example by faithfully hearing and learning God’s Word in worship and Bible class, teaching and studying the faith in the home, and being godly men in word and deed. After that follows serving in positions of leadership in the congregation that are in support of Word and Sacrament ministry. Below are some of the opportunities for men to be godly men at St. John:

I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
-1 John 2:14 ESV

Whether it is shooting at the range together, debating topwater vs. soft plastic lures, or discussing the finer points of Texas brisket, we have a great bunch of guys here at St. John. We are l ooking forward to getting to know you and being strengthened together in the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Family centered

We also offer other opportunities periodically for adults, youth and children, such as: conferences, retreats, book clubs, church picnics, monthly Bible studies, adult/children's choir, community service projects, elected and appointed leadership, Sunday school, and Vacation Bible School.
